A family tradition of desserts worth remembering.

The story of Patissier Lavender began long before the brand itself.

In 2003, Denise Hains opened a small tea room in the Temecula area called Rebecca’s Tea Room. What started as a simple passion for baking quickly became something much bigger. Guests returned again and again for Denise’s handcrafted desserts—sharing them with friends, celebrating special moments, and forming a lasting connection with the flavors she created.

It became clear that these desserts were doing more than satisfying a sweet tooth—they were becoming part of people’s memories.

That love from the community led to the creation of Rebecca’s Foods, a premium dessert company Denise built with her mother, Sadie. Their desserts found their way into regional retailers and even Costco warehouses across the Southwest, bringing Denise’s recipes to thousands of families.

But Rebecca’s Foods was always, at its heart, a family business.

When Sadie became ill in 2008, Denise made the decision to close the company so she could spend her mother’s final months by her side. The chapter ended, but the passion for baking—and the memories those desserts created—never faded.

Years later, Denise’s son Tory began helping bring those recipes back to life.

Having grown up around his mother’s kitchens and food businesses, Tory saw something powerful in what she had built: desserts that people truly loved. Together, they began imagining what it could look like to share those flavors with a new generation of families.

Patissier Lavender was born from that idea.

Today, Denise brings decades of baking expertise and carefully perfected recipes, while Tory leads the creative vision and brand strategy that brings those desserts to life in a modern way.

Together, they are continuing a family tradition built on one simple belief:

The best desserts aren’t just tasted — they’re remembered.

Every Patissier Lavender dessert is created with premium ingredients, exceptional care, and a deep respect for the moments people gather around food—whether it’s a celebration, a gift, or simply a quiet evening treating yourself to something special.

Because the sweetest memories often begin with dessert.
